About Me


I am 24 years old, living in the UK, and have been a distance runner for almost 15 years now, competing on multiple teams both in the UK and USA.

Throughout my time in the sport I have been very fortunate to work with a number of great coaches and teammates, and as such have learnt a great deal about competitive distance running and fitness in general.

This extends to all aspects associated with competitive sport and how to effectively and efficiently build fitness, including nutrition, recovery, rehab, logistics and, race planning and preparation.

My Motivations


My motivation for starting 'The Running Guy' is to share the knowledge and experience that I have gained over the years as a competitive athlete.

I want to use this knowledge to help others reach their goals, no matter how big or small. I look at every person individually and assess their goals and aims to provide an appropriate tailored plan.

What am i offering?


I am offering in-depth actionable advice for people who either want to train for a specific race or event, or those who are trying to improve fitness from any starting point.

Some of this information is available via my ebooks that I have produced, breaking down each of the various fitness components that you need to consider when building your fitness. I share the rest of the information via Twitter either through my content or via direct message when the advice needs to be tailored.
